"dominated by Wynn’s voice which is an excellent vehicle, he inhabits the songs in a laid back unhurried fashion, a hint of Dylan here, a bit of Will Oldham there. His writing appears to owe more to the likes of Townes Van Zandt but is well able to rise above mimicry" - Americana UK
Seemingly unable to stop writing songs, Mark Wynn's debut turned into a sprawling double album of small town romance, debauchery and Townes-esque tragic tales of misfits and losers.
Recorded at producer Sam Forrest's 'Factory of Unprofessional Sound' studio, Wynn's minimal picking and hushed narrative is complemented by some subtle percussion, banjo and added guitars.
